Svea - 5/27/2020

Svea ate whole wheat toast and ate grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate most of pork roast, no whole wheat tortillas, ate carrots, and two servings of strawberries. The first two pictures are left over from yesterday afternoon when we were outside playing.  Avilene was working hard to pull Svea and Nora in the wagon.  In the second picture Atley has just sent the red ball flying out of the catapult.  Svea was too busy checking out her shirt to notice anything.  Ha. Next picture: Svea was wearing her cape and trying to hide behind the chair from me.  Little cutie.  Just before this she was standing in front of me saying, "I am super hero, I am super hero."  I thought she was asking me for a "pillow."  Haha.  Avi enlightened me!  Following picture; Svea colored and put stickers on her paper.  Last picture: Nora and Svea are under the balance beam playing while Avi and Atley were doing some art work.  It was fun l...

Svea ate cheerios and no banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, no whole wheat pita bread, ate olives, avocado and two servings of strawberries. Lauralea's sister Julie arrived here about 10:30 today and the kids were hyped-up to have a visitor.  Julie had just walked into the house when Svea said, "Hi Julie. My name is Svea."  Wow.  Nice work Svea.  It was just so cute. Svea was a busy little girl all morning and played and explored hard just like she always does.  In this first picture she was pretending to sleep and Avi was jostling her around.  Not sure what the game was, but they were having fun regardless.  Second picture: I've commented on this before, but Svea loves playing with multiples of the same toy.  And I have multiples of almost everything!!!  In this picture she has at least 7 bracelets of jingle bells on her arm. Next picture: "I want a ponytail Gary, I want a ponytail."  Sure, I love fixin...

Svea ate brown rice and bites of raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate salmon, no whole wheat dinner roll, ate riced cauliflower, and three servings of mangoes. We have this daily ritual when I'm feeding Miles his baby food.  Svea pestered me for a bite and I gave her one bite and now it's a routine.  So I always tell her, "Just one bite."  The older girls were watching and laughing and saying, "Ewwwww!!!" the first time she did it.  Which Svea thought was funny.  She still looks for their reaction, but it's old news now.  I guess Svea was trying to move into phase 2 when I was feeding him his bottle today; she was begging; "Please Gary please, please Gary please."  Haha.  "No." This first picture is leftover from yesterday afternoon when it started raining outside.  The kids were so excited to get out the "rain toys."  Second picture: Svea was organizing and lining up her cars on the window sill. Next picture:...

Svea had no whole wheat English muffin and ate three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast.  For lunch she ate half of ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, ate half of peas, and two servings of applesauce. First picture; These three were snuggled up close looking at books together.  It was very cute.  Second picture: Svea was reading books and singing.  When I first noticed it she had the "Bear went over the mountain" book and was singing it.  Then she got the book you see in the picture: This is about twin moose calves with real pictures and they're actually great pictures.  And here she was singing, "Baa baa black sheep."  (With the book upside-down.)  Here's what you don't see in the picture: Nora had Alexa playing "Happy Birthday" over and over and over.  Svea totally ignored it and kept singing her own songs; right on pitch I might add!!  Good work Svea!! More pictures from this morning; Svea coloring, playing "r...

Svea ate French toast and three servings of strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of "hearty paleo stew" with meat, tomatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, sweet potatoes, green beans, and carrots.  She ate saltines and two servings of tropical fruit. This first picture is one left over from yesterday afternoon.  The sisters were having a great time just being silly and enjoying each other.  So cute.  I love having them together at Little Treasures!! Here are some pictures from this morning's activities.  Svea is with her baby again.  She said, "My baby sleeping."  And she acts so gentle and sweet with her babies.  Awesome little mommy.  Following picture; We have multiples of most toys and we probably have 6 sets of keys.  She loves collecting all similar toys and stockpiling them.  (Hoarding!!  Maybe some people never grow out of this Toddler stage!)  :) Nest picture: Svea said, "Please...

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute. Next picture: Svea was at the gate yelling to Avi and Atley (who were in the Preschool Room) and she was saying, "Look at me guys, look at me guys."  Then she started walking across the room...

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea ate oatmeal and several bites of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast.  For lunch she ate several bites of hamburger stew with meat, tomatoes, green beans, carrots, and potatoes.  She had no whole wheat dinner roll and she ate her apricots. First picture: From yesterday afternoon.  The kids played in the tunnels and had lots of fun.  Second picture: As soon as breakfast was over this morning Svea immediately got the dolls and was putting them all down for a nap.  There are 4 dolls under the blankets. Next picture - It was nice to have Nora and Miles back with us on this Friday!!  Nora and Svea played together at different times and it's terribly cute when they do; especially when they're NOT bickering!!  Haha.  Nora was giving Svea some pointers on how to take care of the babies.  PLUS, as the picture shows, she's also teaching Svea to fully utilize walking past a mirror!!  STOP and ADMIRE.  :) Next picture: More pla...

Svea ate two servings of French toast and no dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate most of pulled pork, half of whole wheat toast, ate bites of peas, and ate strawberries. The first two pictures are left over from yesterday afternoon.  We were building with this set of "whatever they are."  As soon as I put a few together Svea wanted to walk through them.  :)  Second picture: Svea was making her bike go by pedaling a little bit.  She made three or four rotations with the pedals.  And she did it three or four times.  So I think she'll soon be getting the hang of that if she keeps trying. Next picture: Not much to say about this cute picture.  Haha.  She said, "Gary, look at my eye." Next picture; Svea wanted to color when the big girls were doing some art.  Actually she wanted to glue with them, but I'm not letting her do that just yet.  It won't be long.  What do I use as a basis for her doing more art?...

Svea had no whole wheat toast and ate three servings of mangoes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of ground beef with marinara sauce, no whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate cauliflower, and two servings of fruit salad. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  Sis Avi is giving her rides and Svea is loving it!!  I like the cute expression on Avi's face; I've seen that look several times and she's kind of slightly amused, but mostly proud of her role as the big sister.  And Avilene fills that role so wonderfully. Next picture - Svea playing with a couple of stuffed animals.  So the one by her left hand is a large cat and the one in her right hand is a tiny dachshund pup.  Ha. Last picture: Svea was playing with a doll and covering it with a doll blanket just like she does every day.  The little mommy LOVES her babies.  And now she's always talking and singing to them.  I could probably count on one hand t...

Svea ate bites of blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of shrimp, ate half of brown rice, ate stir fry vegetables, and ate strawberries. I'm posting these first three pictures which are leftover from yesterday afternoon.  They're just too cute not to post!! Most of the time Svea was playing outside by herself.  Atley left early and I was keeping an eye on Avi who stayed inside to color and do some stamps.  (I can see the lunch/art table by peeking through the window on the patio.   Since Lauralea has been working from home she's had more opportunity to watch Svea at play. This morning Lauralea said, "She is always so busy."  Yes she is; confirming what I've been saying for a long time.  She is learning to play with others, but can self-entertain very well!! This next picture was taken before breakfast; immediately after waving at Momma at the window.  Svea did quite a few stickers an...
