Svea - 1/2/2019

Svea! You get your very own Journal now!!  How fun is this!?!  And Avi gets her Journal all to herself again!!  Happy Birthday Svea!!  It was fun to see you yesterday on your actual Birthday!  Just an FYI for everyone; I'll now be doing 5 Blogs so the times they are posted may change a little bit!  My daily goal is to have them all posted by 2:45.  Everyone was back today and it was so fun and busy to have the 5 kids back!!

Svea had a few bites of French toast for breakfast.  Not interested in the strawberries.  For lunch she ate several bites of whole 30 chili with ground beef, peppers, tomatoes, and sweet potatoes.  She also had a bottle of formula first thing this morning and another just after lunch before her nap.

Svea and Linnea were excited to see each other.  (It was almost 2 weeks!)  It was so cute and Linnea was saying, "Svea."  First picture: This was moments after Svea arrived.  Of course the first thing to happen was Svea reaching for Linnea's phone!  Haha!  Second picture: When they were both done eating I moved their highchairs close together and they immediately reached for each other.  :)

More pictures!!  Svea has been frequently playing with the legos and she likes pulling them apart.  This is obviously the first step before they start putting the legos together, but she's learning that they actually do go together.  Middle picture: This is one of Svea's favorite spots at Daycare.  I should try to count and track how many times she's at the window looking out and then off to play again.  (Looking for Mommy of course!!  Right Molly!?!)  Last picture: Svea just being adorable and giving me huge grins.  I love this kid!!  :)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
