Svea - 1/24/2019
Svea did very well with both meals today. Way to go Svea! For breakfast she ate whole wheat bagel (toasted and buttered) and peaches. For lunch she ate hamburger & sausage pizza, whole wheat pizza crust (cut into little pieces), with peppers, pineapple, olives, and tomato sauce. She ate a few bites of pineapple on the side.
Today it was Nora's turn to notice Svea walking. :) "She's walking Gary, she's walking!!" Yup, sideways and cautiously!! :) Actually Svea was doing way more walking today than before; walking just about every time she was headed somewhere! This first picture is from yesterday afternoon. Svea has seen others put these "legos flowers" in the holes in the corners of the yellow bench (just in front of her hands) and she worked for a long time and tried to do it. She never got it, but it wasn't for lack of trying!! (Without getting frustrated.)
Svea was totally "showing-off" for me in this next picture. She knows I think she's adorable! Ha! At first she was laying length-wise on the mattress with her butt hanging off the side. I don't know how she kept from tumbling off, but it made me laugh and that was just the beginning of her antics. Every time I'd look at her, she'd giggle and do something silly.
This next picture also made me laugh! Svea was playing in the legos drawer and if you look closely you can see the handle to the purse is looped around Svea's ankle. It looks like Linnea is surveying the situation; "Hmm...how did you get yourself in this situation?" :) Last picture; Just another picture of those two playing close to each other again.
