Svea - 1/3/2019

Svea ate some apple/pear/banana that I fed to her.  I decided to just give her that after being stressed out by the doctor appointment.  She also had a bottle before nap time.  She actually played well and only fussed when she was hungry so I didn't see much negative effect from her shots.  And the other kids were very impressed by a bandaid on each leg!!

Linnea was so cute when you brought Avi to Daycare this morning.  She knew you'd forgot to bring Svea!!  After you left Linnea continued to stand at the gate with a big frown on her face saying, "Baby, baby, baby."  Where's my Svea buddy!?!  I think you forgot someone!!  :)

There first two pictures are from yesterday afternoon.  Svea played at the book rack for at least 20 minutes.  I was actually amazed how long she could play with the ONE book you see in the picture.  She was putting it in the book rack, thumping it up and down, then turning around and playing on the yellow bench with it, then back around to the book rack.  I couldn't believe how long she stayed on task!  No attention deficit here!!  :)  The second picture was after everyone got up from their naps and Svea was obviously happy and having fun on the mattress!

So where's the first place Svea went to this morning?  Well I'm glad you asked!  Right back to that book rack!!  And the picture to prove it!  :)  Later we were going out to do some art and Avi said, "Svea said she wants to come out Gary!"  Uh huh, right Avi.  :)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
