Svea - 1/7/2019
Svea ate pear, banana, and apple mix for breakfast and she had a bottle of whole milk later in the morning. At lunch she was only interested in the chicken, but she ate quite a bit of it. Her transition to "big people food" is a work in progress, but it's gradually happening and that's just fine.
First thing this morning Atley was monitoring the babies hauling toys to the "wrong side" and she was also monitoring other violations!! She was making announcements like; "She's (Svea) sticking stuff in her mouth!!" "Svea's bringing toys over here!!" Avilene instantly was there to defend sister!! Ha! Avi was pointing at Atley for extra emphasis and saying, "She's a baby! She's a baby!" (Repeat this scenario 3 or 4 times.) Ha!
Someone across the room (I think it was Atley) said, "Hi Lauralea" and Svea started waving. :) Then when I was putting Svea down for her nap she was saying, "hi hi hi hi" and it was hard to leave the room!! Haha!! Too cute.
First picture of busy little Svea this morning. She was playing in the igloo with sister Avi and then in the box with Linnea. I thought it was so cute how both little ones were sitting on the chairs; Linnea sideways and Svea backwards!
Last picture: You can see Svea on the slide; earlier Avi had flipped it over to the steps on the other side. (That's not easy to do, but Avi has it mastered. You have to lift the top out first, swap it end-for-end, and then slide it back into place.) Well Svea started crawling up the steps and was on the 2nd step and then trying to stand up!! Geez! That was just the time Lauralea was leaving. Lauralea saw what Svea was attempting to do and said, "Ok, I'm outta here!!" Haha! She apparently didn't want to be witness to anything!! :) Svea was also trying to stand on the mattress and that was great! A nice soft landing!!
