Svea - 1/8/2019

Svea ate a few bites of whole wheat bagel and a few bites of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she had a bite or two of shrimp and bite or two of stir fry veggies.  Because I didn't think she had much to eat this morning, I also fed her some baby food (blackberry, blueberry, and banana) before her nap.

She's at that age where they explore like crazy, very very mobile, and pretty clueless about danger zones!!  :)  First two pictures.  She loves this spot and is hanging out there frequently.  It's a fall of several inches, but so far she hasn't done a nose dive!  Maybe it's just me; I'm not realizing how advanced she is?!?  Right Momma!?!  So she just sits at the edge of the drop-off grinning at me and looking super cute!!  (She did roll off this spot later, but that came because of a questionable nudge from sister!!)

Next pictures:  Here's my two littlest ones sharing a moment at the book rack!  I'm using the term "share" very loosely!  There wasn't much sharing going on!  Truthfully, they didn't seem to even want to share space.  Ha!   Middle picture: Back to that danger zone thought!  Svea was watching herself in the mirror and bouncing around!  Then she spotted me and look at the big cheesy grin in the mirror.  Yes, you are pretty hilarious Svea!!  Last picture: Look out world I'm starting to walk!!  Svea is a delight for me to care for and I love this busy little girl!!  So much fun!

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
