Svea - 2/1/2019

Svea ate several bites of cream of wheat cereal and no dried plums for breakfast.  She wasn't interested in any of the lunch so I fed her a mixture of banana, pear, and plum.  And a bottle after lunch too.

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon after sister Avi had put the headband on Svea.  Svea actually left it on like that for several minutes and it looked pretty cute.  I've mentioned this before, but I'm pretty impressed with how Avi interacts with Svea at Daycare.  I will occasionally ask Avi to give Svea a little space, but not very often.  Avi loves to see Svea happy and having a good time.

Next picture:  I moved the big box out of the play room just for something different this morning.  Before I moved it all the way out I set it on it's side and in a different location and it becomes a totally different toy and something NEW!!  They were all squealing and acting like they'd not seen it before!  "We're SO happy!!  Thank you Gary!!"  :)

Last picture: Svea working the phone lines!!  This phone has a pretty realistic ring tone and I can't tell you how many times this week it totally tricked Avi!  She'd hear it ring and say, "I'll get it for you!!" She likes to grab the phone off the changing table when it rings.  (The land line.)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
