Svea - 2/28/2019
Svea ate waffle and fruit salad for breakfast. For lunch she ate shepherd's pie with meat, carrots, potatoes, and green beans. She had a nibble of whole wheat tortillas, and ate one cherry.
Just in case anyone is interested: Child Care Resources is celebrating 50 years in the Missoula community with free rides and free Ice Cream at the Carousel on March 12th, 5:30 - 7:00. Bring friends and family. All ages of kids are welcome.
Svea was stretched out on the mattress reading this little book and then she noticed me with the camera and started rolling around being silly and goofy! And giggling! She seems to like the size of the small board books right now. She looks at them frequently and packs them all over the play room. Second picture: More Svea being silly and giggling.
Next picutre: Svea knows these pieces will go into the bucket, but now she's trying to figure out how and where it works. Yesterday I gave her lots of round ones - over and over and she easily fit those in the round holes as I pointed to the correct hole. Following picture: I just took a picture of her sitting by herself behind the chair playing with several different toys. Little cutie with a great smile.
Last picture: I tried several times to capture what Nora and Svea were doing, but it doesn't come through with a picture very well. They were both giggling and Nora would run by Svea and pretend she was gonna grab her. Svea would run and try to whirl and go the opposite way. I like how Linnea is watching them play. Observation is a big part of their learning.
