Svea - 3/11/2019

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, whole wheat hamburger bun, maybe a taste of tomato, ate avocado, and maybe a taste of cherries.  I mixed the meat with the avocado and fed her and she likes that combination.  Lauralea was here during part of lunch time and Svea was grinning big at her and then acting all shy; she put her head down, but never took her eyes off Lauralea.

I want to mention again about Child Care Resources (CCR) hosting free rides and free ice cream at the Carousel TOMORROW - Tuesday March 12,  5:30 - 7:00.  CCR is celebrating 50 Years in the community.

We did a toy and book exchange this weekend and it was fun watching Svea charge around exploring everything.  As the morning goes by Svea begins to slow down a little bit, but first thing in the morning, and especially toy exchange, she's constant motion.  First picture is a good example of what I mean.  I kept backing up trying to get a picture of what she was doing, but most of the pictures I took were blurry!!  It was very cute how she searched the pile and found just what she was looking for; a spoon and a cup!

Here are more pictures from Svea's morning!!  She had a phone so I was saying, "hello!  hello!  hello!"  She kind of held it to her ear.  :)  Next picture Svea has a doll which Nora had just brought to her. Last picture; Svea is finally sitting down!  :)  She did sit down for books a few times.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
