Svea - 3/1/2019

Svea ate LOTS of whole grain cream of wheat cereal and no dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate the meat from baked beef kabobs with zucchini, pineapple, and peppers.  She ate the brown rice and tasted the pineapple on the side.  I mixed tiny pieces of meat with the brown rice and fed her and she ate lots of that.  She made the funniest faces tasting the other things on her plate.  :)

Just an FYI for Momma Molly.  As soon as I fed Svea her breakfast she was totally a happy camper.  And like I mentioned above she ate lots!!

I like how Svea is now charging all around the room and staying very busy.  And she's moving pretty fast now as well!!  First picture:  I was wanting to get a picture of her with a comb in each hand and I was backpedaling, but she wasn't slowing down!

Next picture:  There may be three of these shape containers, but it's way more fun to use the same one!!  Not long after I took this picture Svea grabbed the container and took off.  Linnea just kind of looked at her like "whatever" and found something else to do.  No yelling or anything.

Last picture;  Nora was playing the same game with Svea again.  She comes running across the room pretending like she's gonna "get" Svea.  Svea gets excited and giggles and it's pretty cute.  Nora keeps doing it over and over until Svea gets bored or distracted.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
