Svea - 3/13/2019

Svea ate two servings of French toast and ate a large serving of strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch she had bites of stew with meat, broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, sweet potatoes, and tomatoes.  And maybe a taste of tropical fruit.

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon!  I'd put the hat on Svea and about the same time Avi came by with a hat on too!  So I got a picture of them strolling off.  Big Sister hanging out with the little one!  I think Avi does a great job having her sister here!!  She basically just lets Svea do her thing without interfering or being overly protective and it's great!

Next picture: Svea was pretty tired and fussy by 10:30 so we had some snuggling time and that helped get her through to lunch time.  We did eat a little early.  I read books for Story Time while she laid on my lap just like you see in the picture.

Last picture - Nora came by while Svea was snuggling and got some big smiles out of Svea.  Speaking of Nora; she's been going potty occasionally on the toilet and then she likes to run to the Play room and have me fix her diaper on the floor.  Well that's a great opportunity for Svea to come pester her.  Svea kind of circles around Nora and invariably steps on Nora's hair.  Which causes Nora to lose her mind!!  Screaming like it's the end of the world.  Now she yells if Svea gets close.  Svea  just seems to be amused by it all.  On Monday Nora was on the couch pouting about something and Svea was "getting" her.  I told Nora to just "run" because the baby couldn't keep up.  Well Svea followed her across the room chasing her!!  Haha!  It's just hard being a VERY sensitive soul Nora!!

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
