Svea - 3/20/2019
Svea ate whole wheat toast and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate all her fruit salad and basically just touched, stirred, licked, squished, and sniffed everything else. I didn't see any of it go in her mouth: pork roast, whole wheat tortillas, and vegetables. (potatoes, sweet potatoes, and carrots)
First picture left over from yesterday afternoon. She's become pretty much a daredevil, but cognitively doesn't have a clue yet as to how much it hurts to fall off here to the floor! And that's why there's nothing in this room more than about 25 inches off the floor!!! After I took this picture I turned the green steps over; then it's a slide and she has to work much much harder to get to this spot. And she usually gives up and does something different!
Story Time for the past 2 or 3 weeks: We are all on the couch except for Svea and every day she's been bringing a toy over and thumping somebody with it; or thumping one of our books or whatever. So I took the toy (ice cream scoop) from her hand and put it on the changing table. Avi immediately said, "There's another one over there Svea!!" (pointing to where it's at!) Haha! "That is NOT helpful Avi!" I said. Avi totally knew what I meant and even though she's tried to bale out Sister a couple other times, today Avi took a "toy for thumping" away from Svea while we were reading. :)
I like this first picture from today: Avi inspecting sister with the binoculars. Svea doesn't care what Avi's doing, she's just trying to grab the binocular's strap! Ha! Last picture: These two little clowns playing at the sink. Linnea is filling a little cup with "water" and Svea is trying to get her spoon under the faucet too.
