Svea - 3/6/2019

Svea ate two servings of whole wheat toast and two servings of mangoes for breakfast.  She ate bites of everything at lunch: ground beef with pasta sauce, whole wheat spaghetti noodles, riced cauliflower, and fruit salad.

I took this first picture of Svea yesterday afternoon when we went into her room to get her from nap.  She's looking at Nora or Atley that came with me.  (Avi was still sleeping.)  After I took the picture I removed those two things that hang above her crib.  (She's yanking on them a bit too hard.  :)

Next picture; Svea keeps the 3 older girls busy carrying toys back to the other side of the room.  Only soft toys on this side of the room.  Linnea is totally getting that now.  The older girls remind her frequently too!  Ha!  Right after I took this picture Avi and Atley came into the Daycare room and Avi grabbed the yellow bucket and told Atley to grab the lid and the phone.  :)

Last picture:  Svea was rolling around being silly and grinning at me.  She's really a fun little kid and I love having her at Little Treasures!  Moments later Linnea dropped a doll on Svea's head and the smiles and giggling disappeared!  But then I Had to snuggle her.  :)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
