Svea - 4/10/2019

Svea ate French toast and strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate several bites of hearty paleo stew with meat, cauliflower, broccoli, sweet potatoes, green beans, and carrots.  She also ate crackers and half of tropical fruit.

This first note is leftover from yesterday afternoon.  I was changing Svea's poopy diaper and Linnea had arranged a couple of blocks to stand on and watch from the viewing area.  Ha!  Linnea saw it was poopy and she said, "Yuk Svea! Yuk!"  Haha!!  (She's had good teachers around here!)

First picture: Svea brought me the frog suit so I draped it over her head and she immediately got on the mattress where Atley and Avi were practicing "somersaults."  Notice where Avi ended up after doing her somersault.  A bit too close to the wall!!  :)  Second picture: Then Svea started bringing me the other animal suits.  She was walking past the mirror and had slowed down to have a look.  :)

Last picture: I was intrigued watching Svea play with this doll.  Some kids like to play with the dolls and some just don't.  Svea sees Nora and Linnea frequently being little mommies!  It's a bit young to really comment on it, but I will anyhow!!  Ha!  I didn't see much nurturing from Svea yet, but after she throughly examined the dolls eyes and prodded and poked at them I do see potential for Opthamology!!

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
