Svea - 4/18/2019

Svea ate whole wheat bagel and two servings of peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she ate three or four bites of hamburger and sausage pizza with whole wheat pizza crust, tomato sauce, olives, pineapple, and peppers.  She ate a large serving of pineapple on the side too.  So this first picture I took at breakfast time.  I was putting the peaches on a little fork and handing it to her and she was loving that.  The first one I stabbed with the fork and handed to her, she got all excited, grabbed it and jerked it up fast, and the peach went flying across the room!  LOL!  Ok Svea, maybe a more gentle approach would work!!

This next picture is from yesterday afternoon.  She'd crawled through one of the holes in the geo-climber and was sitting under it with a big cheesy grin!  I love that little toothy grin!  (Have you heard that before!!)  So cute.

I was preparing to wipe Svea's nose and I said, "Ok, this will probably make you yell!"  Avi said, "Well just kiss the top of her head."  Sweet!  Now I know the secret to keeping Svea happy.  Next picture: She found a legos that already had three or found together and she was trying to add another one on the top.  Last picture: Linnea found a spare sock on the floor and she knew who it belonged to. And she knew what she wanted to do with it well!!  Svea was willing to let her try, but it better happen quick, because Svea wasn't sitting still for more than 6.5 seconds!!  :)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
