Svea - 4/24/2019

Svea ate two servings of French toast and ate strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate whole 30 chili with sweet potatoes, tomatoes, tomato sauce, and peppers.  She sniffed the whole wheat dinner roll, and ate tropical fruit.  At lunch I was feeding Svea her chili and I blew on it several times which she giggled about and then she was blowing on her dinner roll.  :)

I'll talk about the first two pictures together.  Svea makes me nervous when she's on the blue balance beam like this!!  She loves being up there and walking back-n-forth!  Look how Avi is prepared to "catch" her.  Svea slipped off that side and Avi did sort of catch her; at least stopped the fall.  Of course Avi just about choked Svea down while dragging Svea back onto the mattress!!  Haha!  Second picture: She'd just fallen off the beam (again) and immediately scrambled back onto it when I took this picture.  She landed on her back, but the fall didn't seem to faze her at all!!

Next picture;  The kids were waving bye to Daddy Andy at the window.  I thought it was SO cute because Linnea never took her hands off Svea's head during the entire 'waving good-bye' time.  Last picture: Svea and Linnea again!!  We were doing bubbles outside and the big kids were chasing them like crazy hollering and squealing.  Svea did find some abandoned bubbles and that's what she looking at on the ground.  "Over here Linnea, Over Here!!"  :)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
