Svea - 4/4/2019

Svea ate two servings of French toast and tasted a dried plum for breakfast.  (Chewed on it twice and never actually swallowed it, but she definitely got a good taste!  Ha!)  For lunch she had a bite of ground beef with marinara sauce on whole wheat spaghetti noodles, bite of cauliflower, and two servings of fruit salad.

I have a note left over from yesterday afternoon that was SO cute.  Svea was in the igloo and Linnea had a doll blanket and was trying to hang it over the entrance to the igloo.  Linnea looked at me and said, "She hide in there."  Haha!  Isn't that cute!?  I loved it.  That's a great four word sentence Linnea!  Svea was looking at a book in the igloo and I don't think she even noticed what Linnea was doing.  Ha!

First two pictures - Svea was wearing this "frog suit" several times this morning.  She had it on before Momma Molly even left and she was wearing it when she was at the window waving bye.  Then she'd go do something different and pretty soon she'd bring it back to me!  (I just drape it over her head and she's good to go!!)  In the second picture she had set down, but was struggling to get it off.  I let her struggle and she got it off by herself without getting frustrated!  Nice job Svea.

Last two pictures:  These two little characters hanging out together!!  They were sitting on the blocks in the last picture and Linnea kept tipping forward and backward just experimenting with what the blocks would do.  Then she'd look at me and grin.  I said, "You're so cute!"  Svea gave me a big cheesy grin!  Haha!  Yes, you are a cutie too!!  :)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
