Svea - 4/5/2019

Svea ate brown rice and one or two raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate one bite of hamburger stew with meat, green beans, carrots, and tomatoes.  She also ate most of whole wheat dinner roll and most of apricots.

First picture is from outside time yesterday afternoon.  I love how Svea just cruises all over the yard, very independent and exploring everything.  The big girls were using chalk and she had to stop and inspect what Avi was making.  

Yesterday I talked in the Blog about Linnea and Svea playing in the igloo - Svea inside and Linnea trying to put a doll blanket over the entrance.  This morning Linnea wanted to do it again and was motioning Svea to go in the igloo.  Linnea said, "Svea, Svea, in here Svea."  Svea totally knew what Linnea wanted and got off the floor and went in the igloo.  It was SO cute!!  And Linnea started trying to cover the entrance again.

Look at Svea's right pant leg in the next picture.  I mentioned the other day she's been doing this a lot.  Avi noticed Svea's pant leg pulled up this morning and asked, "Who did that to her pants!?!"  Haha!  Big Sister looks out for you Svea!!  Probably an hour later I saw Svea doing it again and that time Avilene got to watch her doing it!

Last pictures: The big girls were doing preschool activities and I was hanging out with these two little characters while Callahan was taking a nap.  I had the camera in selfie mode and I like the first picture how Linnea and Svea are looking at each other.  Then when Linnea wandered off Svea was trying to stand up on the balance beam and she was being very cautious.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
