Svea - 4/8/2019

Svea ate most of breakfast: kix cereal and mixed fruit.  For lunch she ate a couple bites of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, a couple bites of tomatoes, bites of avocado, and half of her cherries.

This first picture is leftover from Friday afternoon, but I have to include it because I think it's cute!  She brought the mask to me, but you gotta work quick in that scenario because Svea's not hanging around for long and I managed to get it upside-down!  Haha!  She left it on for a few minutes.  If you zoom in you can see one of her eyes.  :)

Next picture; This was shortly after the Nelson kids arrived this morning and Avi was basically following Svea around and doing what you see in the picture.  Avi was initiating all of it, but Svea was loving it too.  (You'll see a very similar picture that I posted in Avi's Blog today!)  Following picture;  Basically in the same spot, but obviously Avi had moved on to something else.  Svea had a book and she was slipping it behind the step, then reaching under to retrieve it!
 

Next picture; Just Svea being cute and hanging out in one of her favorite spots.
Last picture: Linnea and Svea were playing with the blocks and then they (primarily Linnea) started clearing the shelves.  They did the entire pile that you see in the picture; which I thought was pretty impressive!!  :)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute. Next picture: Svea was at the gate yelling to Avi and Atley (who were in the Preschool Room) and she was saying, "Look at me guys, look at me guys."  Then she started walking across the room...
