Svea - 5/14/2019

Svea ate half of whole wheat English muffin and no dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate several bites of chicken, several bites of brown rice, ate stir fry vegetables, and ate her oranges.

Well for some reason the pictures from this morning are not uploading to the computer so we'll have to go without pics for today!!  Which kind of sucks because my notes are directly related to the pictures.  Anyhow, Svea picked up one of the battery powered cars and hit a button which activated the wheels and horn.  She started poking around at it to replicate what had just happened!

I also had a picture of her talking on her phone; an old fashioned flip phone.  She packed that thing around for probably 20 minutes.  She also spent time trying to push Callahan around in the stroller. She had him shoved up against the wall, but was still trying to make more progress.  Uhhh, you've come to the end of that road Sweetie!

Svea was pretty fussy this morning.  She didn't seem warm too me (I didn't take her temp) but something was bugging her and causing her some discomfort.  I took a cute picture of her and she was grinning all over even with tears on her face and snot coming out of her nose!!  I was wearing one of the hardhats and she thought that was funny.

Ok, The pictures finally uploaded, but I'm not gonna redo the Blog.  You can match the pictures with the paragraphs!  That's the homework assignment!!

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
