Svea - 5/16/2019

Svea ate most of whole wheat bagel and ate a large serving of peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she had bite of tilapia, ate whole wheat elbow noodles, green beans, and a bite of applesauce.

These first two pictures are from yesterday afternoon.  Svea and Baby Callahan were the only two kids awake and Svea actually got on the floor with him like you see in the picture.  She doesn't do this often, actually this is probably the first time I've seen it.  She likes him, but she's too busy to just lay with him.  (This is how Nora plays with him.)

I love this second picture!  Sister Avi was still sleeping so Svea was checking out the hat!!  (Actually Avi lets her wear it whenever!)  She's looking in the mirror and if you zoom in you'll see her right eye is blocked, but I guess she's can see out of her left!!  Look how she's doing funny stuff with her mouth!  :)

This last picture cracks me up!!  Here's the story: I was feeding Baby Callahan and watching Svea take off her socks.  She got one off and the 2nd one she had all stretched out like you see in the picture!  I was laughing and when I was done feeding the baby I said, "Let's see if we can re-create that moment!!"  Haha!  Linnea saw me trying to get Svea to tug on her sock so she stepped right in to offer her assistance!  And this was the result!!  LOL!!

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
