Svea - 5/23/2019

Svea ate two servings of waffles and a large serving of fruit salad for breakfast.  For lunch she ate shepherd's pie with meat, green beans, carrots, and potatoes.  She also ate her cherries and no whole wheat tortilla.  When I offered her the shepherd's pie she whipped her head back-n-forth, but I saw an opening and slipped a little in!  She tasted it, ate it, and then ate almost the entire serving.

First picture: Svea is becoming quite demonstrative when waving bye and also saying "bye" to most of the parents.  She was saying bye to Lauralea when I took this picture.  In the second picture she was bouncing with Linnea and Atley and watching Avi across the room.  Not sure what Avi was doing but she had their attention.

Next picture: Nora was very concerned about the messes on the chair!  She said, "Somebody spit on the chair!"  Well actually Nora it's all from Svea's nose; all over the back of the chair and the seat!  And I will get a rag and clean it up!!  I didn't realize it was that bad until I started looking closer!!

Next picture: Svea likes to frequently get up on something -  like the blocks in the picture.  Notice Avi with Callahan in the background.  Last picture: Linnea and Svea were running circles around Callahan in his baby seat.  They did it for a least 25 - 35 minutes.  If you place something (in this case someone) in the middle of the floor they'll run circles around it!

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
