Svea - 5/9/2019

Svea ate whole wheat English muffins and oranges for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a few bites of ground beef, whole wheat elbow noodles, peas, and applesauce.  I mixed it together and was feeding it to her; and did the same for Linnea.

This first picture is from yesterday afternoon.  Nora was sitting in the stroller holding her baby in a blanket and Svea was working really hard to move that stroller!  If you look close you can see she's "leaning" into it and straining hard!  Except she was already up against the corner!!

Next picture: Atley started doing this on the floor while a couple others were finishing breakfast.  Svea joined her first and then Linnea joined Atley later!!  How cute is that?!?  Atley said, "I am doing exercising."  Then she added, "Do it like this Svea!!"  Haha!  Synchronized exercising!!

Last picture: The three oldest girls were in the preschool room, Callahan was sleeping, I could see Linnea playing, but where is Svea!?!  Seriously, she was so quiet.  When that happens she's almost always by the book rack studying a book and that was the first place I looked!!  The igloo was my third choice and there she was just sitting nice and quiet and apparently pretty proud of herself.  Svea, I just think you're so cute and you're a lot of fun too!!

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
