Svea - 6/27/2019

Svea ate French toast and half of dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef with marinara sauce, bites of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, a bite of cauliflower, and ate fruit salad.

Svea had another great morning; just like most mornings!!  She really does well at Daycare and is lots of fun to take care of!  She's very self-entertaining, fun loving, great sense of humor, loves to explore, etc, etc, etc.  First picture: She's covering her baby with a "blanket," but what you don't see is how long she fiddled with that bandana getting it perfectly adjusted before she laid it over the doll.  She's watched Nora do that many many times.  Second picture; Putting on one of the masks!!

Next picture: Callahan was taking a nap and the three "big" girls were doing preschool activities and art.  So it was a perfect time for Svea and Linnea to loot through the legos drawer and empty the contents!!  Haha!  Second picture: Avi and Atley were giving them the business with a series of questions and accusations!  The look on their faces is like; "What!? what!? This isn't acceptable!?!"

Last picture: Svea and Linnea utilizing one of the mirrors!!  :)  They were both wearing little "jumpers" or whatever they're called.  Nora totally recognized that!  She looked at Linnea and asked, "What is that?"  Well I think it's called a jumper.  A few minutes later she looked at Svea and said, "She's got one of them too!!"  Nora spots the important stuff!!  :)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
