Svea - 6/7/2019

Svea ate kix cereal and all of her raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate salmon, no whole wheat dinner roll, a bite of cauliflower, and ate her mangoes.

First picture: Nothing attracts attention like the street sweeper!  They are pretty loud and we can hear them coming and the kids wait at the window.  This one didn't turn and come in front of the window, but the kids were still excited to see it!

Next picture: Look at Svea sitting in there; just the picture of innocence!!  Here's the real story!!  Svea was terrorizing Nora (again) so I headed over there to assist and Svea sprinted for the igloo, crawled to the back and just sat there like you see in the picture.  That was pretty funny!  Nora reacts to everything and Svea just can't resist that!!  All Svea was doing was reaching out and touching Nora's side.  And Nora was yelling for mercy!!

Last picture: Atley doing a performance singing and acting like Atley!!  With her eyes closed!  And she was singing loud!  Nora was yelling for her to stop; which only encouraged Atley to sing louder!  If you zoom in on Linnea's reflection in the mirror her face is super serious!  Haha!  Svea is focused on Linnea.  Atley just has an endless amount of silliness and it's pretty much on constant display!!

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
