Svea - 7/19/2019

Svea ate oatmeal and half of dried cranberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of tilapia, most of whole wheat elbow noodles, bites of green beans, and slightly tasted the applesauce.

This first picture is leftover from yesterday afternoon.  I happened to catch all the kids that were still here hanging out on Callahan's blanket at the same time.  Not much room left for him!!  :)  If you look at this in "live mode" (I learned that term from Momma Molly!!) you'll hear Avilene saying, "What's going on?!?" She was using a "whining" voice - translation - "I'm bored!  Entertain me Gary!" Haha!

I like this next picture; caught her right in the middle of stepping down while walking blind!  She never even stumbled; just kept right on motoring across the room.  She's had lots of practice!!  Ha! Nora was as impressed as me as Svea continued to go back and forth across the room.  She said, "Gary, look at Svea!"  :)

Next picture: Svea was working hard to get the blanket laid on her baby just the way she wanted it.  After a minute of swinging it around she laid it on the baby and then she laid on top of both and said, "night night, night night."  More Svea words: Lauralea said, "I love you" and Svea said, "uh you." Close enough!!  :)  Last picture: Playing with the food and being her usual cute self when she saw me taking a picture!  Little goose!!

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
