Svea - 7/29/2019

Svea ate bran cereal and raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of chicken, no whole wheat pita bread, half of cucumbers, bite of avocado, and ate a large serving of pears.

Svea had a great morning and what can I say?!?  Here it is:  She's just such a joy to take care of and I love having her in my Program!!  :)  I had to be downtown to sign some papers at 9:00 this morning and Lauralea covered for me.  I took this first picture as soon as I got back and I was playing with her on the couch.

Next picture: She was playing with her doll this morning and when she laid on the pillow I heard her say, "night night, night night."  :)  Following picture: Playing with Callahan the moment I was done feeding him.  She's checking out the flexibility in his fingers!
 

Last picture: We were not outside too long this morning, but I wanted to get a picture of the airplane toy in today's blog!  They were loving it and having a blast!  Avi is in the driver's seat (now there's a shocker), Svea is in the seat directly behind Avilene, and Nora and Atley are on the teeter-totter seats. Nora didn't realize it was gonna move and she freaked out at first.  Svea was loving it from the moment we got outside.  She's pretty little for it, but she doesn't realize that.  Haha!  They were rocking/teetering back and forth and she was standing up!  Little goof!!  The company forgot to pack a "steering wheel" so I called them this morning and it's on the way.  (I just cut a wooden circle for a temporary steering wheel!  Ha!)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
