Svea - 9/11/2019
Svea had a bite of whole wheat toast and ate her grapes for breakfast. For lunch she had a bite of pork chop, no whole wheat tortillas, bites of carrots, bites of potatoes, and ate a large serving of fruit salad.
I have several pictures for Svea's Blog today and I want to post all of them. The first 4 are from yesterday afternoon and three of those were taken when it was just Svea and Avi still here. Check out the little monkey crawling up the side of the climber. Good work Svea. In the second picture she was perched on the edge, but I told her that wasn't safe and thankfully she listened. She hasn't perfected the "landing on her feet" part yet and that's what primarily scares me!! She just basically throws herself off the balance beam onto the mattress in the house. Next picture; she's pouring sand in the spin wheel. And in the 4th picture she's playing with sister Avilene. You can probably guess what happened when Avi popped her head out and yipped at Svea!?!? Svea squealed and jerked her head back and bonked on the support post. Ouch!! She didn't cry. Avi also worked on Svea's vocabulary and proper pronunciation of words!! "Hey Ssvea, say sand....hey Svea, say mushroom, say carousel, say airplane, say park,...." and on and on until Svea gets tired of that game.
Here are a couple of pictures from this morning. Linnea was wearing a hard hat and wanted Svea to join her. She gave anther hat to Svea and Svea immediately put it on. Cuties!! Here's the story behind the last picture: As you can guess from the picture Callahan is pulling himself up to everything! And I mean everything! He started tipping after I took this picture and used Svea's hair as a "lifesaving handhold!" Haha! Svea was not impressed by that slick maneuver.
