Svea - 9/30/2019

Svea ate kix cereal and bites of mixed fruit for breakfast.  Right before Lunch Svea was pointing at the shelf saying something.  I'm sorry Honey; I don't get what you're saying!  Avi helped me out; "She's saying Jammies!!"  You are totally right Avilene.  Svea was getting tired and ready to eat and go to bed!! Put on my stinking jammies!!   For lunch she ate ground turkey (mixed with her avocado), bite of whole wheat hamburger bun, half of tomatoes and ate cherries.

First picture: Well Svea and Linnea started off the day right where they left off on Friday.  Slinging all the blocks off the shelves.  Haha!  Look at Linnea in the picture; it looks like the stack of 6 blocks is getting the best of her!!  Atley joined the little ones as she likes having some chaos too!

Next picture: I thought it was cute how these two little cuties were standing on blocks so they could peek over the top of the changing table.  Following picture: Svea was standing on the blocks like this and then jumping off.  She was nailing a "two-footed" landing!  Notice she's wearing a tutu. (Inside-out.)

Linnea and Svea were holding hands - Linnea initiated it - and walking across the room.  That quickly morphed into a type of "ring around the rosy" by adopting only the part about "all fall down!" The fun part!!  :)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
