Svea - 9/3/2019

Svea ate half of her waffle and no grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of chicken, no whole wheat tortilla, ate a large serving of corn, and ate half of apple slices.

Svea had a great morning and pretty much played near Linnea all morning as the pictures will show. She was acting silly, dancing around, and bobbing her head up and down.  Linnea giggled and said, "What Svea doing!?"  Making you laugh.  Then Svea was on the climber with her back to the mattress acting like she was gonna flop backwards.  Linnea said, "I not go off backwards."

First two pictures; Playing with the legos sitting on top of the legos table.  And in the following picture Linnea was grabbing a shirt to put it on, but Svea was just piling them all up on the floor first. In the third picture Svea and Linnea had arranged the blocks and Svea was experimenting with stepping off and down to the next level.  No crashes this time!!

Next picture; Svea and Linnea set up these blocks and were jumping/stepping off onto the pillows.  Lauralea came upstairs about this time and they started "showing-off" and it was funny.  Linnea said, "We're jumping Lauralea, we're jumping!!"  Svea did this big jump and did a perfect "butt bomb" on the hard floor.  Ouch!  That could NOT have felt very good.  She didn't say anything, BUT she didn't do it again either!!  :)  Last picture: These two were reading books in the cozy corner and Linnea was singing, "Three blind mice, see how they run..."

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute. Next picture: Svea was at the gate yelling to Avi and Atley (who were in the Preschool Room) and she was saying, "Look at me guys, look at me guys."  Then she started walking across the room...
