Svea - 9/5/2019

Svea ate half of whole wheat English muffin and half of oranges for breakfast.  For lunch she had a couple bites of everything; ground beef, whole wheat elbow noodles, peas, and applesauce.

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon and these two were back at it after waking from their naps.  I could basically take pictures most of the day just like this where they're engaged close to each other.  Sometimes they are interacting, sometimes not.  Then they were jumping on the mattress and Svea said two words; "I jump."  Very good!!

This next picture represents Svea's lack of interest in taking off her jacket for Lauralea.  (It was a test!! Ha!)  When Lauralea is testing she marks results; in this case Svea didn't score for taking off her jacket and we still don't know if she's able to or not!!  She wouldn't try.  Avilene, of course, was right there to jump in and defend Sister with the obvious: "She doesn't want to take it off Lauralea!!"  Haha!

Next picture; Lauralea was continued to test and wanted to see if Svea held her paper with the other hand while drawing or coloring and the answer is no.  Last picture: I'd sat Callahan on the floor after his morning nap and was getting his bottle.  When I came out with his bottle Svea and Linnea were laughing like crazy!  They (primarily Linnea) were taking his pacifier out of his mouth and then sticking it back in!!  They jammed it back in quick when they saw me coming!!  Haha!  Busted!  They look pretty scared right!?!  :)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
