Svea - 10/11/2019

Svea ate oatmeal and bites of dried cranberries for breakfast.  She had bites of lunch; Tilapia, whole wheat elbow noodles, green beans, and applesauce.

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon shortly after the kids got up from their nap. Here's a side note; Generally speaking, right after nap time would be the time the kids are most likely to give lots of loves and hugs!!  :)  (That's a general observation from many years of this thing I do!! Ha!)  Atley was slightly surprised and said, "Svea gave me a hug!!"  And 3 or 4 more times!!  :)

Next picture: Svea and Avi were playing and Svea was putting her foot on Avi's head and as you can see Avilene thought it was the funniest thing ever!!  "Do it again Svea!!"  Another side note: I usually don't allow "foot to the head" type of play because in this kind of setting it's ALWAYS "monkey see monkey do."  But these two were having so much fun I didn't interfere.  :)  Following picture:  Svea and Linnea joined the two big girls doing some stickers at art.  Svea is pretty good at small motor activities like this.  I showed her she had plenty of space on her paper for more stickers and she then intentionally piled about 8 stickers on top of each other.  Haha!

Last picture;  Atley yells, "AIRPLANE AIRPLANE AIRPLANE" like it's the first airplane she's ever witnessed and the rest of the kids can't resist running to the window to see the airplane.  Haha! Every day. Inside. Outside.  "AIRPLANE!!"  Daddy Brad, our resident pilot, is probably very proud!  :)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute. Next picture: Svea was at the gate yelling to Avi and Atley (who were in the Preschool Room) and she was saying, "Look at me guys, look at me guys."  Then she started walking across the room...
