Svea - 10/1/2019

Svea ate bite of waffle and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of chicken, no whole wheat tortillas, ate corn, and baked cinnamon apples.

Linnea pulled out the legos drawer and that gave her room to crawl under the legos table.  Everyone does it and it's frequently a favorite activity.  This morning when Linnea did that I guess Svea thought I really needed to know about it!  She came over to me and was pointing at the table saying, "Nay Nay, Nay Nay, Nay Nay!!!"  Ok, thanks for the heads-up Svea!!  :)  I'll keep an eye on that Linnea!!

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon when the kids were playing outside.  Svea and Avi were enjoying a ride in the wagon provided by Atley.  :)  And of course Avi was barking out instructions to Atley as they proceeded down the sidewalk.

Here are a group of pictures from Svea's morning activities;  I love how Svea is chilled-out in the igloo, leg propped up on the side, and reading her book.  So stinking cute.  Next picture: She had her dolls - three of them -  and was wrapping them in the doll blanket.  And she kept saying, "baby baby baby."  She also went and got doll bottles and clothes for her babies.  I was cropping picture number 3 and I thought it was so cute how Svea and Linnea were both focused in the same direction; maybe focused on the same thing.  I have no idea what they were looking at.  Last picture: Svea was building these block towers until they tipped over and then she would do it all over again and again. Notice how she's perched on her tip toes.  :)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute. Next picture: Svea was at the gate yelling to Avi and Atley (who were in the Preschool Room) and she was saying, "Look at me guys, look at me guys."  Then she started walking across the room...
