Svea - 10/14/2019
Svea ate whole wheat Chex cereal and peaches for breakfast. For lunch she ate ground beef mixed with avocado, no whole wheat hamburger bun, bites of tomato, and no oranges.
I have a note left over from Friday afternoon! Nora was asking for help with getting her jacket zipped up. Everyone was busy getting their own stuff on, I was helping Callahan get bundled up, so Nora asked, "Can you help me Svea!?! Can you help me Svea!?!" That totally hit my funny bone. Nora doesn't want to "waste" too much energy putting on her own things when someone is nearby that can potentially help her!! And surely Svea should be able to help her!! Haha!
Here are some pictures from Svea's morning at Little Treasures. She was trying to make a step/stool so she could see what I was doing on the changing table. Then the block arrangement kind of took on a life of it's own. :) Following picture; Several times this morning Svea was building with the legos. She's pretty good at manipulating the legos pieces. Good small motor skills.
Next picture: Svea went to the cozy corner three or four times this morning to read some books. I love how much she enjoys doing this. Last picture; Did I just mention "small motor skills?!?" Yes, I thought so. She did this page full of stickers entirely on her own. I've had kids much older than her struggle to get the stickers off the page and onto their own paper. We all have areas of strength and areas of struggle!! Good work Svea. She was back to the cozy corner after Art time and I asked her to hold her paper so I could take a picture. And she has a "legos flower" in her mouth in case someone was wondering! :)
