Svea - 10/15/2019

Svea ate half of whole wheat English muffin and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate several bites of pork chop mixed with applesauce (which I fed to her), bites of whole wheat toast, and bites of beets.

First picture: Linnea said she wanted some water and of course Svea needed some too.  Avi was serving the water.  Svea is sitting in the designated "water drinking spot."  Thank you Avi!!  Svea is keeping an eye on Linnea's drinking progress!  Following picture:  Linnea is sitting in the chair working on legos and Svea is pushing the chair around and around.  Atley joined them and was sitting on the floor yelling, "Red light!!  Green light!!"  But without too much success!  It worked better when she simply said, "GO!  STOP!!"  Ha!

Next two pictures; Svea going off the climbing beam backwards.  She's so funny!!  (It's a bit blurry for obvious reasons!!  Actually 2 reasons; she's moving and I don't know how to take an action picture!  Ha!!)  Then Svea was bending over and saw me taking a picture and she was trying to ham it up for me!!

Last picture: This was shortly before Lunch time and it started with Svea sitting next to Atley.  Atley had invited her up on the couch by asking Svea if she wanted to snuggle.  Svea crawled right up and it was very cute and sweet.  (You can see in the picture that Atley still has her arms around Svea.) Then the other two climbed up and joined them.  So I got a group picture; which with this age group is not easy.  But I thought it was cute how Linnea was bent over looking at Atley.  :)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute. Next picture: Svea was at the gate yelling to Avi and Atley (who were in the Preschool Room) and she was saying, "Look at me guys, look at me guys."  Then she started walking across the room...
