Svea - 10/25/2019
Svea and Avi ate breakfast before they came. For lunch Svea ate hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, and tomatoes. No whole wheat dinner roll and a couple bites of apricots.
Avi always wants to know everything I'm doing when I'm interacting with the other children; why I'm doing it, what I'm trying to accomplish, etc etc etc. She demands details! And it's even more so that way of course when it has to do with Svea. Sometimes I just tell her it doesn't have anything to do with her, but most of the time I fill her in with some extra details to help her understand. One thing I really like; Avi almost always tries to reinforce my rules with Svea. It's very sweet, cute, and sometimes quite helpful. For example here's a Rule: the kids have to keep their clothes on at Daycare. I said to Svea this morning when I saw she had one arm out through the neck of her shirt; "Keep your shirt on at Gary's house." Avilene said, "You can take off your clothes at your house Svea." :) Love it. I frequently use the phrase "at Gary's house" and they very quickly understand rules can be different here from home.
These first two pictures are left over from yesterday afternoon. I liked how Svea and Callahan were playing above and under the blue balance beam. The giggling and laughing was so cute and wonderful. (My favorite sounds!! Children Playing!!)
Here are two pictures from this morning. I think it's cute when Linnea and Svea gather up some books and go to the yellow benches to read. They each have their own bench! :) Last picture; First, Callahan is a pretty mellow baby! Activity around him doesn't bother him at all when he's drinking! Avilene had asked if she could feed him and while she was sitting on the couch waiting for me Svea crawled over and sat on her lap. And Svea really wasn't ready to quit pestering sister when Cal's bottle arrived. Notice her arm is wrapped around Avi's eyes. Haha!
