Svea - 10/3/2019

Svea ate half of whole wheat English muffin and bites of oranges for breakfast.  For lunch she ate half of ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, half of peas and half of applesauce.

The first picture is from yesterday afternoon right after Svea got up from her nap.  Obviously she's still in her jammies.  She was sitting there reading and totally absorbed in the book and Callahan came over, turned around and sat down - almost on top of her!  She didn't even flinch and never did act like she even noticed her was there!!  Haha!  Second picture: Also from yesterday afternoon when we went outside.  The kids asked to play at the sand tables and Svea was very engaged with the sand play for probably 15 minutes at least.

Next picture;  Linnea is not here today and will be gone until next Wednesday.  Svea still played steady and hard all morning.  She looked cute wearing 2 tutus and sucking on a legos flower.  She also has a legos flower on her left index finger and on her right thumb.

Last two pictures - We did some finger painting today and the kids had fun with that.  It's much easier to do an activity like this when a couple of kids are missing; Sorry Linnea and Nora.  Clean up is a bit of a challenge!  Haha!  Svea seemed to enjoy it and in the last picture she was ready to be done!!  She was saying, "I Done, I Done!!"

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
