Svea - 10/7/2019

Svea ate cheerios and a couple bites of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, no whole wheat pita bread, bite of tomatoes, ate avocado (mixed with the ground beef), and ate watermelon.

We (primarily Sylvie - Ha!) did a toy, book, puzzle exchange this weekend and the kids were super busy like always on toy exchange Monday.  Svea headed right for the book rack and the cozy corner and I had to coax her away from here to wave bye to Momma at the window!  The girl loves her books and I always love to see kids so interested in books.  That's a top priority around here!!  Svea went to the cozy corner to read several different times this morning and I obviously took this picture when Avi was there as well.

I was greatly amused watching Svea when I took this next picture!  She was carefully laying out the doll blankets one at a time (in the bottom of the photo) and would go back for another blanket.  Five blankets, five trips!  She pretty much said, "baby baby baby" the entire time she was laying out the doll blankets.  Then four more trips for the four dolls.  Plus, she has herself partially blockaded with some other toys and she had to weave through those on every trip!  Following picture: Svea is wearing a lion suit and so is Avi.

Last picture;  Svea was standing on these blocks and then started scooting them along on the floor like she was skiing.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
