Svea - 10/8/2019

Svea ate whole wheat English muffin and a bite of dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of chicken with stir fry vegetables, ate brown rice, and mandarin oranges.  (I finally found some mandarin oranges in 100% juice!)

Sometimes I'll ask Svea for a love.  "Can I give you a love?"  She'll almost always come over and let me hug her, but it has to be short and quick.  :)  I was putting Callahan's pajamas on him for his morning nap at 8:30.  Svea got mad because I wouldn't put pajamas on her!  Haha!  She said, "jammies, jammies, jammies!"  And was pointing up at the shelf where I keep them.  I told her, "Yes, I'll put jammies on you at nap time."  She didn't stay mad very long!!

Here's a picture left over from yesterday afternoon.  It was a wonderful afternoon and comfortable with long sleeves, but no jacket.  The "big" girls are in the background searching for bugs and Svea was playing on the slide.  We did bubbles and lots of other kinds of play out there.

Here are some pictures from this morning activities.  First thing; waving bye to Melissa.  Avi already had the lioness suit on and Svea had a mask.  Avi said, "HEY!  She didn't stop!!"  Haha!  Nope, but at least she waved!!  Following picture; The little book reader hard at work.  Last picture: Svea showing Callahan some pointers on how to care for the babies.  :)  Linnea has been gone since Thursday and will be back tomorrow.  I'm sure Svea will be thrilled!

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
