Svea - 10/9/2019

Svea ate a bite of whole wheat toast and bites of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch: no pork roast, no whole wheat tortillas, no hash browns, ate a large serving of sweet potatoes, and a large serving of fruit salad.

Svea was on the mattress and noticed Lauralea in the kitchen.  Svea started yelling and repeating the same word/sound and directing it at Lauralea.  As soon as Lauralea turned around to notice her then Svea instantly started jumping and showing-off!  I'm sure Svea was yelling; "Watch, watch, watch!!"

First picture; Garbage workers with their truck!  The highlight of the morning.  The kids sprint for the window when we notice the workers!  :)  Second picture;  Well Linnea is back!  Nobody scattered blocks around during the four days when Linnea was gone.  Ha!  Linnea said, "We're building!"  Well Svea is building a tower, but slinging blocks around is not really "building!!"  Haha!

Last picture is a selfie: So here's what Svea did for at least 15 minutes this morning.  And I think it would have been much longer if I wouldn't have had to get up and get Callahan from his morning nap.  Pretty out of character for Svea unless she's tired or not feeling well!  She was whimpering this morning occasionally, but never did really cry.  She was acting uncomfortable.  She did get out a large poop, slightly firm, and I think that may have been the contributing factor.  (The snuggling part was awesome!  But I don't like it when they are uncomfortable and not able to tell you what's wrong!)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
