Svea - 11/11/2019

Svea ate whole wheat Chex cereal and peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, bite or two of tomatoes, and bites of mandarin oranges.

Nora is here today (that's possible because Linnea is gone) and she's even in the first picture.  Nora and Atley had the tape measures from the preschool room and were measuring some distances - or at least that's what they were suppose to be doing - and I like how Svea is keeping a close eye on them.

As I mentioned in Avi's Blog today Lauralea is doing some testing and most of that happened in the preschool room.  Svea played by herself a lot, pestered Callahan, and did the same sort of things she does when Linnea is here.  Next two pictures; First she read LOTS and LOTS of books, then she filled the side pockets in the chair full of books and started pushing the chair around and around as fast as her legs could go.  And giggling.  Haha.

Next picture - Svea played with the barns and farm animals; filling the barn full of animals.  And the last picture; Svea on top of the igloo preparing to jump.  And giving me that big cheesy smile first.  I need to show this picture to Atley's Momma.  She could hardly believe that Svea is jumping off the igloo already.  :)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
