Svea - 11/1/2019

Svea ate brown rice and maybe two raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate most of her fish (Alaskan Pollack), no whole wheat dinner roll, bite of cauliflower, and ate mangoes.  

I'm sure everyone is SO curious about what kind of a morning we had after halloween evening!!  Haha!  I'll tell you anyhow; we were leaning slightly to the crazy side!!  Occasional spurts of extra energy combined with being tired.  This first picture is a great example.  We built this "wall" and anytime you put something on the floor like this they LOVE to run around and around it!!  Avilene was really into chasing Svea!!  It was loud and it was rowdy!

Svea was laying on the floor and Callahan crawled over and was thumping on her.  Then he was reaching for a handful of hair!!  She rolled away from him and started scolding him.  haha!  Children the age of Svea do not really understand they can simply get up and outrun a crawling baby.  They usually just lay or sit there and get mad at the baby.  :)

Last picture:  I just thought it was very cute how they were all lined up sitting and ready for Story Time.  So I got ready to take a picture - and to get a reaction from them I shouted; "Who's the funniest guy you know!?!"  And they've been instructed to yell, "GARY!!"  Haha!  For my ego.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
