Svea - 11/15/2019

Svea ate cream of wheat cereal and didn't have any dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of chicken fajita with meat, peppers, onions, and spices.  She ate brown rice and pineapple.

I do my Blogs at nap time and I just got started when Avi started saying, "Gary, Gary, Gary!"  And she was pointing at her sister.  Svea was dinking around and rolling her blanket into a ball.  Haha.  Your sister just squealed on you Svea.  Thanks Avi.  This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon when we went outside.  The little fearless monkey!

Next two pictures: Svea reading her books.  This was super cute, but the first picture didn't really capture the moment.  She was reading (loud and with expression) and I took several pictures trying to get a good one with her mouth open.  Didn't work.  Then once she realized I was taking pictures she was being silly and started acting like a clown.  Haha!  Little cutie!!

Linnea isn't here today, but Svea played steady and this age group rarely says anything (without me saying it first or reminding them) about someone missing.  I've always thought that was so interesting.  Last picture:  Svea covering Miles using the doll blankets.  She probably just thinks he's another doll to play with.  :)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
