Svea - 11/18/2019

Svea ate most of bran cereal and raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate most of chicken, no whole wheat pita bread, bites of olives, most of tomatoes, and ate pears.

This first picture is left over from Friday afternoon and Svea's actions and behavior beside Baby Miles - it was just so cute!  Svea kept putting her finger to her lips and saying, "Shhhh, shhhh, shhhh, shhhh."  He was just grumbling, not crying.  Side note: Svea would be a awesome big sister!  Just saying!!

We (primarily Sylvie - ha!) did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend.  Or as Atley calls it, "New Toy Monday!!"  Next picture; This is the first thing Svea played with when she got here; "Callahan's Drum!"  Haha!  Look at Cal, he's saying, "Hey, I was just playing with that!!"  Next picture: Svea with her stack of books.  She wanted me to take the stack to the couch so I did and she said, "Thank you!"  She's been saying, "thank you" pretty regularly for about a week.

Last picture: I don't know if Svea noticed that Linnea is gone today.  On toy exchange day everyone is super engaged and Svea was a busy girl this morning.  She packed all four dolls to the balance beam and the blankets - it took about 5 trips!  haha!!  Just an FYI, Linnea and her brother are both sick so I hope no one else at Little Treasures gets sick!!  Also, I was in the kitchen putting breakfast dishes in the sink and I heard Svea keep saying, "moon moon, moon, moon, moon."  I went out and she'd spotted the moon in the sky.  Nice job Svea and thanks for telling us.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
