Svea - 12/10/2019

Svea ate half of whole wheat English muffin and ate dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate half of the chicken stir fry, ate brown rice, and mandarin oranges.

This first picture is leftover from yesterday afternoon.  Miles was relaxing on the floor and Svea started pointing at him saying, Hey Miles, hey Miles, hey Miles."  Then this morning Baby Miles started crying and Svea was pointing at him again and this time saying, "tired tired tired."  Which she followed up with "bed bed bed."  You are totally right Svea.  He is tried and I'm getting him ready for his morning nap.  So cute.

This next picture is also left over from yesterday afternoon.  I just thought it was cute when they were looking like twins wearing the same vest and putting on some boots at the same time.  Svea realized I was taking a picture of them and she got the biggest cutest cheesy grin on her face.  :)

Next picture; Svea was working on the puzzles three or four times this morning.  She's matching up the pierces and recognizing where they go, but not yet having too much success getting the pieces to slide into place.  Last picture: Playing with the food toys (with Linnea) and both of them singing, "happy birthday."  Svea repeats those two words over and over and over.  Haha!

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute. Next picture: Svea was at the gate yelling to Avi and Atley (who were in the Preschool Room) and she was saying, "Look at me guys, look at me guys."  Then she started walking across the room...
