Svea - 12/13/2019

Svea ate oatmeal and some dried cranberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate tilapia, whole wheat elbow noodles, no green beans, and ate applesauce.

The first three pictures are from yesterday afternoon.  First; This is the dress-up garment that Avilene said I should get "rid of" because "no one likes it."  LOL  Soooo funny.  (That was on the second day of toy exchange!)  Second and third pictures: Linnea and Svea were perched up on the play sinks and cupboards playing with the ice cream cones and cups.  Then in the third picture they'd went and got some stuffed animals and were now totally focused on their phones.  I like how Linnea has her feet in the sink and Svea is sitting on her left leg.

Next picture: Svea flying off the top of the igloo with Avi close behind.  Notice Svea is carrying her hat.  The last jump was kind of sketchy and she basically went straight down and it looked like it may have hurt her. However, it only caused her to pause momentarily for a love and she was right back up there!  All the time she was climbing up for this jump she was doing "self talk."  "Careful, careful, careful, careful."  That's pretty smart if you ask me!!  Last picture: Svea and Linnea were doing some coloring and then stickers while Avi and Atley were doing some gluing.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
