Svea - 12/18/2019

Svea ate French toast and strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of "Whole 30" chili with meat, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, peppers, tomato sauce, and lots of yummy spices.  The kids love this meal!!  She did not have any whole wheat dinner roll and she ate tropical fruit.

First picture from yesterday afternoon.  You've seen identical pictures of this recently because these two play this game every day.  Svea and Linnea had packed ALL the dolls, doll blankets, stuffed animals, and pillows to this spot and played under the blue balance beam for a long time.  Second picture; This morning they were right back to the same spot, same thing!!  Third picture; Then they decided to move everything to this cozy little spot.  They both worked really hard; but especially Svea.  Man she was focused and got right after it and didn't pause until it was completed.  They only played there a few minutes; I think the process is more important than the end product.

Next picture: Baby Miles looks a bit anxious here and he definitely should be!  Haha!!  "Help me here Gary! She's always poking me in the face or in my space big time!!"  But she loves you Buddy!! Haha!  I don't turn my back on Svea with the Baby yet; although I hope to very soon.  I've done it before and Miles did NOT appreciate it.  Haha!  Last picture:  Lauralea was doing some testing with Svea this morning.  Look at Avilene; we had to tell her to let Svea answer her own questions!  Haha.  (And by the way, Svea did great!!)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
