Svea - 12/4/2019

Svea ate French toast and three servings of strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of "hearty paleo stew" with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, cauliflower, and broccoli.  She also ate crackers and a large serving of tropical fruit.

I love how much Svea is starting to talk!!  She finished a 3 piece puzzle by herself and she was so proud.  "I did it, I did it, I did it!"  Nice work Svea!  Then she was looking at the neighbor's Christmas decorations and the huge snowman in the yard.  She said, "snowman, mailman, snowman."  I think it was unintentional, but it was funny.

Here are some pictures from this morning's activities:  In the first picture Svea is holding the little stuffed smiley face that is "her's" which I hide for her in the morning.  She really didn't have a clue this morning, but she'll catch on quick.  This morning was the first time and I said, "I hid your smiley face."  She started pointing at me, "no no no no."  Haha.  Yes I did.

Next picture: She was looking at the picture of the author on the back of her book and saying, "Gary Gary Gary."  She's said that several times before.  He does have white facial hair and not much hair on top of his head.  Haha!  Following picture; Using the shape sorter bucket for a hat.  Last picture: Linnea and Svea both asked me to help them get the pajamas on so I just stuck their arms in the sleeves and they were happy.  They were looking at the picture on the calendar.  A new month, a new picture.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
