Svea - 1/22/2020

Svea had two bites of whole wheat toast and ate two large servings of mangoes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two large servings of pulled pork - or as she called it - "more chicken, more chicken," no whole wheat dinner roll, ate half of peas, and ate a large serving of strawberries.

Svea kept repeating this 2 or 3 word phrase over and over and over.  I couldn't get it!  Sorry.  So she switched it up for me and said, "Sat on a wall, sat on a wall."  GOT IT!!  haha.  She'd obviously been saying, "Humpty Dumpty, Humpty Dumpty."  She had the biggest grin when I got it right.  She and I both felt pretty successful!!

I think I've mentioned this before, but Svea calls Emily (Nora and Miles' Mommy) - "Embily."  With the "B" sound.  Svea knows Emily comes to feed Miles at 4:00 every day and yesterday during snack time Svea was saying, "Embily come, Embily come."  Then this morning Miles started getting tired and was fussing and Svea said it again.  "Embily coming, Embily coming."  I started laughing and then Svea said, "Crack me up!!"  Hahaha!!  What a cutie!

This first picture is from yesterday.  Svea just HAD to finish lining these up before she could go to her highchair for snack.  :)  Following picture;  Atley and Svea built some towers with the big blocks and they were pretty well convinced Cal's primary goal was to destroy those towers!!  And they were basically correct!!  :)

Last picture; Atley and Svea were doing this yesterday afternoon and again this morning shortly after they arrived.  They'd push off the wall at the same time and go over backwards.  When Svea arrived Atley said,  "Let's do that silly thing again Svea!!"  And Svea knew just what she meant!

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
