Svea - 1/23/2020

Svea ate two servings of French toast and no dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate riced cauliflower, and her fruit salad.  Atley was done with breakfast when Svea arrived and while Svea was eating Atley asked her, "Hey Svea! How bout we do silly things after breakfast!?!"  (Again, same as yesterday.)

First picture; Atley encouraged Svea to get lots of stuff before giving her a ride in the chair.  Svea already had her 4 dolls up there, but then they added lots of accessories.  In that pile are lots of doctor toys and some glasses which you can see in the the following picture.  Little Cutie.

Next picture: I was preparing Miles' bottle and Atley asked, "Gary, will you snuggle me?"  So I told her I was fixing the baby bottle and to ask Svea if she will snuggle with you.  So Atley did and this is what it looked like.  They sat close together on the couch for several minutes.

Last picture: I took this to just use as a prop for this little story.  Svea was in the igloo and Atley had built up these blocks in front of it and she also had a few blocks inside.  Svea was in the igloo by herself and came out (almost frantic) saying, "Gary, Gary, Gary!"  (Haha.) Atley said, "Why do you want to talk to Gary!?"  Haha.  Svea said, "Dark in there! Dark in there!"  :)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
